Last bell toll

As the late day siren go
in factories around the glob
giant machines turn slow
n’ halts, at end of days show

below these monster silhouette
worked up men stumble out
like mumbling mass of shadow
a flowing line of sorrow

stained palms, n’ in silent prayers
tired legs n’ in thick grease layers
their ghostly strides are calm
home that lights their spirit warm

As the late day siren go
and life sinks in the evening glow
wonder what change the siren’s howl
brought to anyone anyhow

death is a late day siren gone
tells, it time to journey home
a place we always travel alone
no matter wherever we roam

like time we spend at work
nourishes our life back home
a life lived in true worth
fills our soul with Gods form

Silent prayer

How many lives
for my dreams to bloom,
how many lives
as it sores high over all gloom.

how many lives
as my love finds true form,
how many lives
will it then sooth and reform,

egos maligned the soul,
desires reel life off control,
and how many lives
I’m cleansed of these all.

when vices leave, virtues thrive
the walls within wither away,
doors once shut will bid a way,
and atlast i will find my way.

Antithesis

An apple dropped on Newton,
send him musing over gravity.
what followed was just groundbreaking.

same day;

a boulder dropped on uncle Brooks,
send him fusing six feet below in a cavity,
hoh! the mood was just heartbreaking.

Louse tongue n' broken bones

A big fat lady,
jabbered and gibbered
in strange tones.
It send me
sick and crazy,
i yelled at her
“big fat ugly
Hippopotamus”,
jabbered, gibbered the lady
“nu mi ingilees”,
so foreign, I felt so sorry,
all the Jitter patter crowd
went jeering loud and crazy.

Half decade wide,
by my side
came the big fat lady,
so foreign, I felt so sorry,
with warm heart, tender tone
I said hello, hai,
woosh! came crushing
big meaty fist,
lightning, then a thunder
and I lay reeling under,
crushed nose
trashed tooth
frisked sense
stars dancing around,
“ouch!” I crawled back,
wondering what it was,
there,
sick and crazy
she yelled to me
“I know now English,
and I know what creature is
the big fat ugly
Hippopotamus”.

Tumbling back
the memory lane,
I murmured
"oops! she remembered", and
the Jitter patter crowd
went jeering loud and crazy.

Scale of happy ten

How was your day?
how in a scale of happy ten?
did all go wrong?
and go weary and long?
but worry not my dear
aye! not this time,
I’ll stay with you
and stay close to you,
In time your eyes flutter few
a new dawn will already be due,
as the day’s sober is undone
I’ll tip the scale back to happy ten.
