I Do

In vows of marriage,
you let go what's yours,
to embrace what was not,
Hand in hand you release
the the freedom from your youth,
to bond like kite to string,
One towards earth,
one towards sky,
catching the rhythm of the wind
in your strings,
the rush in your wings,
In the lure of a boundless sky,
together you fly,
The thrust of rising gush
may rip the kite,
or stretch the string
and run down its lines,
There is beauty in the skies,
charm in the winds,
But the wisdom of nuptial ties,
is the subtle judgment
When to be a kite and surge high,
When to be the string and hold tight.

Heart of the one eyed tiger

People die,
But I wish to have a last stand.
A dream I carry, one that brings a youthful glimmer to my eyes,
To stand right in the midst where the battle has dried away
in want of living souls, and
the ground quenched in the blood of the fallen,
Every inch of the body opened up
bared to the rays of the setting sun
as oozing blood make the body redder,
Shifting the iron from hand to hand
to see where the grip is much stronger,
to dig my feet deep one last time and
to launch for one final fight,
To shred myself into a million bits
for something that’s dearer than my life;
To stare at this beautiful earth and
thank god for his brilliance called life,
All for one last time, then
Say adieu with pride and satisfaction.

"My scars will be my beauty.
My pain will be my strength
I will carry the heart of the one eyed tiger
And the stomp of the one tusker"
