I Do

In vows of marriage,
you let go what's yours,
to embrace what was not,
Hand in hand you release
the the freedom from your youth,
to bond like kite to string,
One towards earth,
one towards sky,
catching the rhythm of the wind
in your strings,
the rush in your wings,
In the lure of a boundless sky,
together you fly,
The thrust of rising gush
may rip the kite,
or stretch the string
and run down its lines,
There is beauty in the skies,
charm in the winds,
But the wisdom of nuptial ties,
is the subtle judgment
When to be a kite and surge high,
When to be the string and hold tight.

Heart of the one eyed tiger

People die,
But I wish to have a last stand.
A dream I carry, one that brings a youthful glimmer to my eyes,
To stand right in the midst where the battle has dried away
in want of living souls, and
the ground quenched in the blood of the fallen,
Every inch of the body opened up
bared to the rays of the setting sun
as oozing blood make the body redder,
Shifting the iron from hand to hand
to see where the grip is much stronger,
to dig my feet deep one last time and
to launch for one final fight,
To shred myself into a million bits
for something that’s dearer than my life;
To stare at this beautiful earth and
thank god for his brilliance called life,
All for one last time, then
Say adieu with pride and satisfaction.

"My scars will be my beauty.
My pain will be my strength
I will carry the heart of the one eyed tiger
And the stomp of the one tusker"

Wonder why

Due you know why the rain drops descend,
The clouds break form and fall,
Why the due drop unlocks
from the grasp of the offshoots
And break a million rainbows
before the cusp of their last bow.
Due you know where they go
As the morning chills bid good bye,
We push hard, the ground push back
Due you know, why we move on,
The fire ignites a Zillion sparks
in flames, in colors and stand tall,
Due you know? Why we wonder
What we wonder, Due you know
The tale of an eternal hunger
Due you know of the one bond
that sets us free, Due you know
it takes us across time unbound

Alice in wonderland

A cat, all white like snow
Came by our home
Gave birth to a chubby kitten
Just one! Black & white coat
Large eyes blinked at us
Like in some wonderland
We called it Alice, it purred,
The cat was cute and smart
It claws open every shelf
Hide Alice in coziest of them
We always find Alice in pockets
Of our trousers, frocks or pants,
A little ball of fur, twitched & curled,
Never stole, never tore or ragged,
Took what’s given, else went on a stroll,
One day they were gone, like a fairy tale
Our own little Alice in wonderland.

Love and Appreciation

'' Words of Love and Appreciation do not come easily, But when they do, they work magic"

All the talent tanked up, my life's still immobile,
Then a word of love and appreciation,
Sparks my life to full throttle, now -
No hill is too high, no road too long,
No oceans too wide or waters too deep,
Nights of deathly calls, its veils not too dark,
My inspiration burns high octane, now -
No journey will ever end in vain.

Last bell toll

As the late day siren go
in factories around the glob
giant machines turn slow
n’ halts, at end of days show

below these monster silhouette
worked up men stumble out
like mumbling mass of shadow
a flowing line of sorrow

stained palms, n’ in silent prayers
tired legs n’ in thick grease layers
their ghostly strides are calm
home that lights their spirit warm

As the late day siren go
and life sinks in the evening glow
wonder what change the siren’s howl
brought to anyone anyhow

death is a late day siren gone
tells, it time to journey home
a place we always travel alone
no matter wherever we roam

like time we spend at work
nourishes our life back home
a life lived in true worth
fills our soul with Gods form

Silent prayer

How many lives
for my dreams to bloom,
how many lives
as it sores high over all gloom.

how many lives
as my love finds true form,
how many lives
will it then sooth and reform,

egos maligned the soul,
desires reel life off control,
and how many lives
I’m cleansed of these all.

when vices leave, virtues thrive
the walls within wither away,
doors once shut will bid a way,
and atlast i will find my way.
